HOW TO RE-HEAT YOUR ROAST TO PERFECTION
We hope you enjoy this lovely roast in the comfort and safety of your own home, surrounded by the ones you love and we cherish the opportunity to be a part of that very special occasion.
By choosing to enjoy one of our take away’s in these troubling times, it is an overwhelming sign of our community spirit and support; we can’t thank you enough. This small gesture helps towards the future of our much loved restaurant and the continued support to our amazing team of staff.
We hope you enjoy this very special day surrounded by your loved ones and we are delighted that we are still able to share this experience with you.
We will continue to keep you updated over the coming days and hope we can create other experiences like this very soon.
We wish you and your loved ones all the best.
Stay Calm, Stay Clean, Stay Local.
Sanitise the kitchen, get your hazmat suit on and wash your hands
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees (save some time, do this before you come to collect!)
Come visit us at the restaurant where your roast will be ready to pick up – we also have bottles of wine available to takeaway too! Remember to sanitise on your way out, on arrival to the restaurant and again, wash your hands when you get back home.
You don’t have to drive down, maybe take a walk, cycle? Use this opportunity to get out the house – but remember, safety first!
Once you return home, open your takeaway bag, remove the other packaging and open your aluminium takeaway container – and move the vegetables to a separate roasting tray.
Wash your hands again!
All of the vegetables will be ready in 10 mins while the meat will take a little longer to re-heat.
Place the takeaway container containing the meat in to the oven and roast for 10 mins, you can take this opportunity to lay the table and crack open something to drink – remember to stay hydrated!
After 10 mins has passed, grab the roasting tray of vegetables and place these on a shelf above or below the meat.
Gravy! – Don’t panic, this can be heated up in the microwave in 20 seconds or if you’re like us and don’t know what a microwave is, simply pour it into a pan and heat on a moderate heat for a couple of mins.
A couple of mins before the time goes off, add in the Yorkshire puddings – or if you’ve forgotten – don’t worry! Place them in the oven while you’re plating up.
